ตามประวัติ ตำนานที่มีผู้เฒ่าผู้แก่เล่าขานต่อๆกันมาว่า เดิมสถานที่แห่งนี้ เป็นสถานที่ ที่กองทัพไทย ใน “ องค์สมเด็จพระนเรศวรมหาราช ” ได้มาหยุดพักรบ เพื่อตรวจสอบบัญชีจำนวนทหารในกองทัพว่า มีจำนวนทหารที่สูญหายจากการทำศึกเท่าใด และมีจำนวนทหารเหลืออยู่เท่าใด ซึ่งประชาชนในสมัยนั้นเรียกสถานที่แห่งนี้ว่า “ สางบัญชี “

วัดปู่บัว ตั้งอยู่ริมฝั่งแม่น้ำสุพรรณบุรี (ท่าจีน) ตั้งวัดเมื่อปีพุทธศักราช ๒๔๗๖ ได้รับพระราชทานวิสุงคามสีมาเมื่อพุทธศักราช ๒๔๘๙ หมู่ ๑ ตำบลสนามชัย อำเภอเมืองสุพรรณบุรี จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี เนื้อที่ประมาณ ๒๕ ไร่ ๓ งาน ๘๐ ตารางวา

วัดโพธิ์เจริญ ตั้งวัดเมื่อปีพุทธศักราช ๒๒๕๗ ได้รับพระราชทานวิสุงคามสีมาเมื่อพุทธศักราช ๒๔๘๒ ตั้งอยู่เลขที่ ๑๘๖ หมู่ ๑ ตำบลสนามชัย อำเภอเมืองสุพรรณบุรี จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี เนื้อที่ประมาณ ๑๑ ไร่ ๑ งาน ๗๔ ตารางวา

สวนเฉลิมภัทรราชินี และ หอคอยบรรหาร-แจ่มใส ตั้งอยู่ถนนนางพิม เป็นสวนสาธารณะมีเนื้อที่ ๑๗ ไร่ ในสวนมีสถานที่ต่างๆ ให้แวะชมไม่ว่าจะเป็นหอคอยบรรหาร-แจ่มใส อาคารแสดงผลงานของ ฯพณฯบรรหาร สวนน้ำพร้อมสไลเดอร์ สวนลายไทย สวนนกพิราบ สวนดอกไม้ สนามเด็กเล่น น้ำพุดนตรี สนามออกกำลังกาย

ตั้งอยู่ที่ริมถนนมาลัยแมน ตำบลรั้วใหญ่ ทางฝั่งตะวันตกของแม่น้ำสุพรรณบุรี เป็นพระอารามหลวงชั้นตรี ชนิดวรวิหาร เป็นวัดเก่าแก่หน้าบันของวิหารวัดป่าเลไลยก์มีเครื่องหมายพระมหามกุฎอยู่ระหว่างฉัตรคู่ บอกให้ทราบว่าพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ได้เสด็จธุดงค์มาพบสมัยยังทรงผนวชอยู่

       Located on Malaiman Road, Tambon Rua Yai, on the western bank of Ta Chin River. It is a royal temple as evident from the royal emblem of King Rama IV on the gable of hte wiharn while practising austerity during his monkhood, the king found this temple and had it restored after his succession to the throne. It is surmised that this royal temple was built during the days of glory town. The Northern Chronicle says King Katae assigned a young Mon to renovate  the temple after the year 1181. A huge buddha image known as "Luang Phor Toh" in the elegant image hall (or wiharn in Thai) is the centre of faith for Buddhist. With a height of 23.46 meters, the buddha image is seated in the posture known as Pililayaka- a gesture of accepting offering from an elephant and monkey. The art of this buddha image is  U-Thong-Suphannaphum Period.

       Experts said the buddha image must have formerly been in the gesture of giving the first sermon and built outdoor in order to be seen from a far distance as widely found in the pre and early Ayutthaya Period. The buddha image houses 36 Lord Buddha's relics inside. The temple holds a large celebrations for the buddha image twice annually during the 7th-9th days of the waxing moon of the 5th and 12th lunar months.

       Opposite to the wiharn, many shops offer great variety of local souvenirs for tourist's selection. In the backyard of the temple is a showcase of a traditional Thai house known as " Khum Khun Chang". It is a large group  of traditional Thai house on stilts made of teak which was built as described in Thai literature     " Khun Chang-Khun Paen". The house exhibits pictures depicting scenes from the literature, as well as old-fashioned equipment, ceramics and furniture.
